FOAD’s Xmas surprise: NERORGASMO “s/t” 7″EP reissued in a total quality-centered reproduction of the 1985 original!!

Posted in Nerorgasmo, Releases on December 24th, 2014 by foadmaster2022

So this is really the last FOAD Records‘ surprise for this year, just in time for this filthy Christmas best portrayed by the cult drawing of Luca Abort included in the record we’re about to introduce here!

Yes, it was about time to bring back to life NERORGASMO‘s 1st legendary EP in a FOAD quality version that will hopefully satisfy those who can’t afford the original 1st press. This is an accurate reproduction of the original debut EP from 1985 with its 3 inserts (adding one extra artwork drawed by Luca Abort) and thick cardboard cover. NERORGASMO, the blackest and most sincere face of Torino’s Dark/Punk nihilism in the ’80s and early ’90s, the true sound of urban decadence in the city that generated some of the most active and creative Punk/HC acts back in the “fuorious years” of Italian hardcore (think of NEGAZIONE, DECLINO, 5# BRACCIO etc). This is their first legendary EP re-transfered from the 1st generation tape (so you won’t hear any old vinyl crackles).

Musically, this was a unique brand of blackened HC/Punk the Italian way crossed with some sinister Dark/Rock influences and the incredibly expressive vocals of Luca Abort (RIP) mixing rage with his sick sarcastic moods. Check the review on goodbadmusic.com: “Italy’s NERORGASMO (translates as “Black Orgasm” – wonderful!) released one of the darkest and most original sounding records of the 80s. Backwards message, weird sounds and ultra evil, CCM-like riffing, creating a sickly sweet atmosphere of lascivious cross-downturning. Just the way we love it so much! What is anarchy and subversion if there’s not some good old satanism involved.”  If you missed the ultra-rare 1st pressing now sold on discogs and ebay for hundreds of euros, this is a great chance to get it again in a new version capturing exactly the same mood and sound intensity!

Available in 2 different versions:

Cripple Bastards “Misantropo a senso unico – redux edition” LP+7″ out now!!

Posted in Cripple Bastards, Releases on December 22nd, 2014 by foadmaster2022

Ok, we have premiered this monster at the incredibly insane “Night Of The Speed Demons fest. 7” that saw RATOS DE PORAO, CRIPPLE BASTARDS, YACOPSAE and EU’S ARSE destroy a completely packed “Honky Tonky” Club in Milano, now it’s time to send the many preorders and announce that CRIPPLE BASTARDSMisantropo a senso unico” (redux) gatefold LP+7″ is out now and ready to ship. Needless to say that the ultra-diehard limited edition with OBI, extra cover and extra booklet is totally gone, we still have a few of the splatter one limited to 80, so act fast! And are you thinking that this is the last FOAD release for 2014 and it’s time to take a breathe?? mmmh, maybe… maybe not!

Anyway, back to “Misantropo a senso unico” : after releasing the highly acclaimed digipack CD version that got a really positive response both by the fans and the press, it was about time to give to Italy’s most violent and controversial Grind/HC album of all times a proper vinyl treatment. If you thought that the recently unleashed TERRORIZERBefore the downfall” double gatefold LP was FOAD’s most stylish production of 2014, you still haven’t coped with this ingot-weighing madness…

Maybe this brief description will help:

* Ultra-thick gatefold sleeve with 70s giallo/horror style lyrics-book glued on the inner panel
* A2 poster with “Milano odia.. (The executioner)” alternative art
* Bonus “Separati dal contagio” 7″EP with unreleased art and side-B etched
* Promo sticker

If the original first pressing had that sick and dark visual feeling due to the maniacal use of 70s Italian artworks from crime/giallo movies of cult underground directors, this new edition emphasizes it even more thanks to the astonishing job of View From The Coffin: starting from the idea of old hectographed posters and mags with a color scale fading into another, the inner gatefold and booklet will sink you into an insane dimension of words, colors and graphics all strictly related to that 70s style that influenced C.B. so much back when this album was conceived. And now to the music: deluxe redux re-issue of Italy’s most classic Grindcore album ever. This has been in the works for years due to enormous difficulties in transfering the original reels that were on a very rare (and unplayable) format. Restored, remixed and remastered with feverish care at Toxic Basement Studio under constant supervision of the band, to keep the original rawness and rage completely intact and utterly reinforced. And there’s even more.. on those reels we found a 4 minute unreleased song, “Separati dal contagio“, which has been entrusted to Sweden’s prog/horror Rock masters ANIMA MORTE for a majestic Goblin meets Frizzi ending result, added on this LP as exclusive bonus 7″

Originally released in 2000, “Misantropo a senso unico” is an incredible outburst of hyperfast hate-fueled Grindcore rooted in the most furious and violent 80s Italian Hardcore. 16 songs of manic speed scream-out-lungs hatred at its most nihilistic form, the band’s absolute manifesto. UK’s Terrorizer Mag quoted it as nr. 6 of the most essential Grindcore albums of all times. S.O.D. / Brutal Truth / Hemlock / Anthrax / Nuclear Assault bassist Dan Lilker about this album: “Exquisitely insane hardcore grind that reminds me of why I got into all this shit back in the late Eighties“. The definitive untoppable re-edition of this album, it can’t sound and look better than this!

Available in 2 different versions:

– DIE-HARD splatter edition ltd to 80 copies including:

. Splatter LP on clear water green vinyl with blood red stains
. New ultra-thick gatefold sleeve with 70s giallo/horror style lyrics-book glued on the inner panel

TERRORIZER (L.A.) “Before the downfall 1987/1989″ 2xLP+CD and double digipack CD out now!!

Posted in Releases, Terrorizer (L.A.) on December 9th, 2014 by foadmaster2022

The wait is over!! FOAD Records‘ death crusade marches towards the end of the year with one of the most important releases in our entire discography: TERRORIZER (L.A.) “Before the downfall: complete demos, live and unreleased tracks 1987-1989” double gatefold LP+CD and double digipack CD!! Both versions are out now are ready to ship!

As the 2xCD version has been delivered to our headquarters some days ago, most of the orders including the CD version only have been sent already, while those with the vinyl are being shipped right now! As expected, the die-hard edition on splattered orange/white vinyl is totally sold out, the regular black one is also running fast so make sure to catch it in time!

Oscar Garcia about this release: “This is the first and the only true release of Terrorizer LA demos ever captured on vinyl and cd, not a low quality bootleg but an official release, none better than to have it all on FOAD Records. Awesome collection for any Terrorizer LA fan!“. The ultimate early years’ anthology from Los Angeles’ godfathers of GRIND, the one and only… TERRORIZER!

This monsterwork starts off with “Collapse“, a completely unreleased song from the “World downfall” studio session unearthed from the band’s secret archives.. next is an alternative take of their split tape with NAUSEA (1988) that sounds like machine-gun fire in the face and then you can enjoy all their existing demos and early works in astonishingly great sound quality, mastered with total audiophile passion from the best sounding sources in existence!! Some of these recordings are the reason why Shane Embury of Napalm Death back in his tape-trading days got completely crazy for them and persuaded Earache to sign them and bring to light “World downfall” (when the band was already on hiatus). “Countless blast warriors still strive for this classic sound and catchy song structure, but no one can match it on Oscar Garcia’s pitch(less) caveman growl! This is the perfect storm of incredible songwriting and recording quality” (Scott Hull of Pig Destroyer / Agoraphobic Nosebleed about “World downfall“).

46 SONGS of bulldozing L.A. Grindcore with a solid Death Metal imprint, all the classics you want to hear included!

December in blood with FOAD Records: 2 insane Grind/Thrash/Hardcore shows planned!!

Posted in Events on December 2nd, 2014 by foadmaster2022

So we are ending the year with a relentless assault based on new releases (TERRORIZER LABefore the downfall” coming in few days + more vinyl gems TBA soon) and two shows that will certainly leave their trail of blood! The first is FOAD‘s classic “Night Of The Speed Demons Festival” established in 2002 and now at its 7th chapter. This year’s edition will take place nearby Milano (Seregno) at “Honky Tonky” club on Friday 19th and will see Brazil’s thrash/punk legend RATOS DE PORAO headlining (exclusive italian show!) together with other blasting monsters such as CRIPPLE BASTARDS, YACOPSAE and EU’S ARSE… all bands that have recently unleashed some great music via FOAD Records. And to end the onslaught, LAFORCAH (feat. Carlame of The Skruigners) will deliver a bizarre avalanche of earsplitting Electro Punk!

The day after we’ll move to Reggio Emilia, to be precise in Cadelbosco di Sopra at the infamous “Donchy Pub” for another devastating event: this time the headliners will be Germany’s old school Grind/Death icons BLOOD for an exclusive Italian show all focused on the first 3 albums and seeing the return on vocals of the early growling maniac Martin “Chicken-Witchskinner“. Other bands to perform that night are once again CRIPPLE BASTARDS and YACOPSAE, opening act: BLASKHYRT.
