Years go by and every now and then we always get back there, to one of our favorite countries in the world, with a boundless underground panorama and a myriad of incredible bands. Yes, we are of course talking about JAPAN. And for once we took the trouble to count up how many Japanese releases have been released by our label so far. With the 4x we’re about to announce, we’re up to 80, in a span of just over 10 years. Out of a catalog of about 360 titles, that is almost 20 percent!! This hints at the charge of passion and interest we have always had for the scene in this country that never ceases to give us insights and little gems to discover. And among the many genres this month we focus on the one that is probably closest to our hearts: traditional Japanese hardcore, which in this case covers various eras – from the early 80s with NO CUT, pioneers of the genre in the Kyushu area, from the 90s style with WARSAW from Sapporo and CRUSTY HI CHARGE from Osaka, to the present day with a fantastic band from Tokyo still active today, combining veterans of the historical scene (former POISON COLA / UNKIND) with new promises of a younger generation (two members of MILITARY SHADOW) : 100 SWINDLE with their outrageous “Tokyo Burning core”! For lovers of pure, no-frills hardcore, fueled with energy and anger, this is truly a month not to be missed!

Official reissue of the two extremely rare cult demo recordings by NO CUT, one of the founding acts in Kyushu’s hardcore punk scene!! This LP will take you on an incredible journey into the raw sound of the band’s origins (1983-1984) when they were delivering aggressive, fuzzy hardcore with a solid street punk backbone and were part of Fukuoka’s wild leather&spikes gangs.. performing at legendary events such as “Control Gigs” and everything related to the beginnings of the “Violent Party” DIY label, which also featured them on the classic “Down Town Street Punker” compilation. 20 songs of seminal Japanese hardcore punk! Despite the term “crusty” in their name that might have suggested a crustcore band, Osaka’s CRUSTY HI CHARGE were a fantastic example of powerful Japanese hardcore in the classic 90s tradition. This collection includes the complete discography of the band, which existed from 1995 to 1999 (some members later went on to form SAAG) consisting of their debut demotape, the “蛇鳳龍虎” 7″ and a track on HG Fact’s compilation CD “No fate vol.III”. Bone smashing drums, well-structured and catchy guitar work, and vitriolic vocals charged with rage are the trademarks of this devastating hardcore force!!
