This release has been in the works for months until we found the top sounding masters in existence and restored them for the best possible audiophile result when pressed on vinyl. Side A includes the band’s Demotape “Life in grave” adding 2 rehearsal tracks from the same period, one is a speeded up HELLHAMMER cover and one is a super-raw version of VENOM‘s “Welcome to hell“. Side B is all focused on the “Convicted”/”Money talks” 4 piece line-up and includes various live recordings and a good sounding rehearsal 1986. All songs here are performed even faster than how they were played on their classic albums.

Another South American Thrash milestone on FOAD Records! 1987… among the hordes of death-thrashing maniacs raising from the blood soaked Brazilian underground, ATTOMICA from the São Paulo area sinks its teeth and claws in first with their “Children’s Assassin” Demo (1986) and then with the ultra-crude self titled debut that still now is considered by many their most classic release. This is some of rawest and most aggressive death tinged Thrash Metal you can think of. A solid collision of caustic neck-breaking riffs, fast ‘n’ tight drumming at occasion speeding up to blast beat levels and some merciless screaming vocals reminescent of early Kreator, giving to the whole thing an utter feeling of cruelty and malignancy.

Despite the many CD reissues, this classic full length hasn’t been reissued on vinyl since the original first press on Equinox (1988), so nearly 30 years! And most important, this new edition on special 160 grams vinyl is with no doubt the best sounding one you can find around, as it has been specially mastered from an uncompressed 1st generation source that unlike the ultra-“squashed” remastered CD versions gives a lot of range and dynamics to the warmness of the original production. Here we are! As previously announced we set February 25 for two new detonating FOAD thrashin’ attacks, and we kept the promise. The highly awaited CRYPTIC SLAUGHTER “Stream of consciousness – Extended version” 2xLP gatefold is out now in conjunction with UPSET NOISE “Nothing more to be said / Growing pain + Live 1986” digipack CD/DVD!!  Most pre-orders have been shipped already. As expected, the CS die-hard edition on splatter vinyl has been completely sold out on preorder (this is getting a routine for all die-hard editions of our releases) , but of course you can still purchase the solid black vinyl version limited to 400.  A note: the previous images published of the “rainbow splatter effect” we had requested to the vinyl factory for the CS die-hard copies don’t match exactly to the final result that we received. We are posting a photo here so those who ordered it can see what they are getting. It’s not far from the starting idea but the pressing plant splattered it with colour drops instead of stripes, they always say that the final result is random, so we accept it because it looks killer and unique anyway. It’s more like a plumcake-with-candies than a rainbow!

Are you ready for a new chapter in the Cryptic Slaughter + FOAD legacy? After giving the right treatment to their legendary “Life in grave” demotape with a special vinyl version including tons of bonus material, it was about time to unite forces again and bring to light a new classic of our favourite California’s thrashing Speed-core pioneers. So we have decided to focus on their 3rd classic full length, their final release before splitting up and reforming again with new members, “Stream of consciousness” originally released in 1988 by Death Records / Metal Blade and never re-issued until then! We did everything possible to improve the sound with a special mastering for vinyl by our sound wizard H.o.D. at Toxic Basement Studio, adding a lot of aggression to the drums and guitar… One thing is sure: you have never heard “Stream..” sound so crisp as on this version! And to make the package even more outstanding we have added 1 full LP of extra tracks, featuring their complete pre-production session (that is even faster and rawer!) made few days before they entered the studio to record the album + 2 rare rehearsal songs 1987 one of which sees Rob and Bill trading off vocals!
