Supporting the long-awaited release of the REDUX Edition of their classic “Misantropo A Senso Unico” album, Cripple Bastards have started an Italian mini tour with a set list focused on a lot of songs from that legendary album.

First gig is gone and there are only five more to go. These shows will be the last chance to listen to some classic songs from Misantropo in a live context, so be sure to catch Cripple Bastards live!

Two cornerstones of mind blowing Grindcore finally out on FOAD Records! The long awaited redux edition of CRIPPLE BASTARDS‘ classic album “Misantropo A Senso Unico” and NAUSEA L.A. early recordings collection “World Struggle : Demos 1988-1992” LP and  are now up for orders!

 

First off we want to thank everyone who showed up at Rock Hard Festival in Milan. The gig was fantastic and legendary bands like Sodom, Tankard, Asphyx and Cripple Bastards lived up to their glory. Talking about Cripple Bastards, the show was the selected event to premiere the REDUX edition of their second album and one of  the fans’ faves : “Misantropo a Senso Unico” (2000).

This re-mastered version has been in the works for about three years and the first batch of copies was blown away in one evening! So, one week after the expected release date we have finally received the remaining part of this new pressing and it’s now available and up for sale! “Misantropo A Senso Unico” REDUX features the amazing remastaring by Toxic Basement Studio and a never released track composed by Alberto The Crippler and Walter Dr Tomas during the original recording sessions of the album. That song, called “Separati Dal Contagio” has been dug out from the archives and enriched by the contribution of the cult Italian inspired Prog/Horror rock maniacs ANIMA MORTE from Sweden. The result is almost a new album and a must listen for old and new enthusiasts of one of the most extreme (if not THE most extreme) album ever recorded in Italy.

UK’s Terrorizer Mag quoted it as nr. 6th of the most essential Grindcore albums of all times. S.O.D. / Brutal Truth / Hemlock / Anthrax / Nuclear Assault bassist Dan Lilker about this album: “exquisitely insane hardcore grind that reminds me of why I got into all this shit back in the late Eighties”. Housed in an elegant digipack with 20 page booklet including all lyrics, liner notes and English translations, wrapped in an external slipcase. The definitive unbeatable re-edition of this album, it can’t sound and look better than this!

NAUSEA ‘s  “World struggle: demos 1988-1992″ gatefold LP is out now via FOAD Records / Scareystore, smoothing the way for the band’s upcoming European tour in October 2013 that will leave your eardrums completely pulverized. FOAD Records  put up NAUSEA‘s only Italian show on October 10th in Piacenza and will follow the band at Bloodshed Fest in Holland a few days later with all our trademark enormous records stand! This is pure old school Grindcore and you can’t get closer to TERRORIZER‘s legendary album “World downfall“, in fact a third of the songs of Terrorizer’s “World downfall” were actually NAUSEA material, the previous band of vocalist Oscar Garcia. Born from the ashes of MAJESTY, they were not a side project of Terrorizer (as many think incorrectly), but a definite band, even surviving the latter’s break up in 1988.  Oscar Garcia even used some Nausea songs to complete the posthumous Terrorizer record (‘Corporation Pull-in’, ‘Need to Live’, ‘Condemned System’ and the title track ‘World Downfall’ that was in origin a Majesty song)! This LP collects the band’s classic “Psychological conflict” EP (1990), the obscure and under-rated “Tumor” Demo (1992) and the entire split Demo with TERRORIZER (1988) bootlegged on vinyl by Headache Rec in the early 90′s. Raw, old school, powerful and polverizing Grindcore from one of the pioneers of the genre!

This has been in the works for 3 years due to enormous difficulties in transfering the original reels that were on a very rare (and unplayable) format. Restored, remixed and remastered with feverish care at Toxic Basement Studio under constant supervision of the band, to keep the original rawness and rage completely intact and utterly reinforced. And there’s even more.. on those reels we found a 4 minute unreleased song, “Separati dal contagio”, which has been entrusted to Sweden’s prog/horror Rock masters ANIMA MORTE for a majestic Goblin meets Frizzi ending result, added on this CD as exclusive bonus. Originally released in 2000, “Misantropo a senso unico” is an incredible outburst of hyperfast hate-fueled Grindcore rooted in the most furious and violent 80s Italian Hardcore. 16 songs of manic speed scream-out-lungs hatred at its most nihilistic form, the band’s absolute manifesto. SCHIZO / NECRODEATH “Mondocane”: ristampa su FOAD Records in anteprima all’Armageddon In The Park

In occasione del festival “ARMAGEDDON IN THE PARK 2013” che si terrà Sabato 3 Agosto a S.Giacomo degli Schiavoni (Campobasso) e che vedrà riunita per la prima volta sullo stesso palco la “unholy trinity” italiana composta da Bulldozer, Schizo e Necrodeath, siamo fieri di presentare la ristampa ufficiale in digipack CD del famigerato “Mondocane: Project One” (1989), un classico del Thrash nostrano sfornato da una line-up d’eccezione che comprendeva 50% della prima incarnazione dei Necrodeath (Peso, Ingo, Claudio) e 50% di quella Schizo di “Main Frame Collapse” (Alberto, S.B. Reder ecc) per 10 schegge che fondevano lo stile delle due band a un’impronta base che poteva ricordare i mitici S.O.D. newyorkesi.   “Mondocane” viene presentato con audio interamente restaurato e rimasterizzato al Toxic Basement Studio e una confezione rivisitata con foto inedite della session in studio nel 1989.  Anteprima assoluta all’Armageddon In The Park che vede sul palco ben 4 band che negli ultimi anni hanno avuto materiale edito da FOAD Records: Bulldozer, Schizo, Necrodeath e i torinesi Jester Beast. Al festival sarà presente il nostro stand, ultima occasione per intercettarci durante l’estate!

The unstoppable FOAD forces are preparing the last summer attack: if you’re around in Italy in August, there’s a festival that you can’t miss: “Armageddon In The Park 2013” on Saturday, 3rd August 2013 in Campobasso, uniting for the very first time on the same stage the Unholy Italian Trinity of BULLDOZER, NECRODEATH and SCHIZO, three monster thrashers that have been ruining eardrums for 3 full decades! For this special event we will have in first preview FOAD‘s official re-issue of “Mondocane: project one” (1989), a late 80s hyper-thrashing combo formed by half early Necrodeath and half Schizo “Main frame collapse” era members to deliver 10 whiplashes of rapid fire Thrash-core uniting the bands’ peculiar style with a basic S.O.D. flavoured imprint.  “Mondocane” has been entirely restored and remastered at Toxic Basement Studios and restyled/repackaged in an elegant digipack sleeve with unreleased photos from the 1989 studio session. Come and get it at FOAD‘s stall (the very last we’ll do for this exhausting summer) and don’t forget that this festival will unite 4 bands that have been released on FOAD in the last few years: not only Bulldozer, Schizo and Necrodeath but also the mighty Jester Beast from Torino, one of Italy’s oldest and most devastating Thrash acts!!
