Wondering what’s next on FOAD Records? Two shredding Hardcore classics from Italy and Britain is our lethal ambush for this month. Our commitment to re-issue the 80s back-catalog of RAW POWER in the best possible quality with plenty of bonus rarities comes to a new chapter with a stunning extended version of their highly acclaimed “Wop hour” EP (1985).  And to be on a par with such a devastating band, we chose one of our favorite UK Hardcore units – for the 2nd time joining forces with FOAD Records: BROKEN BONES with their hard to find demo 1988, for the first time on LP!!  So to make it short: RAW POWER “Wop hour – Extended” LP + booklet and BROKEN BONES “Demo 1988” LP are up for preorders!  The release date for both titles has been set for May 22nd 2018 but we’re hoping to premiere them at the Venezia Hardcore Festival 2018 on May 2018 where you’ll find our record stand in full force armed to the teeth with thousands of records! Italy’s undisputed godfathers of furious Hardcore since 1981 team up again with F.O.A.D. Records to unearth another classic from their 80s discography enriched with a hailstorm of bonus gems! This LP includes their insane “Wop Hour” EP (1985) an adrenalinic assault of rapid thrashing HC delivered with ballistic tightness… plus an incredible selection of bonus tracks, part of which were never heard before.

You’ll find all the bonus songs that were already included in the extended CD version and two unreleased soundboard live rippers: Fiorenzuola 1984 and Amsterdam 1986. The first – still with Giuseppe on vocals – sees these maniacs smashing the stage with a devastating set including a totally unreleased song (“Police Harassment“), some rare ones from their first demo ’83 and covers of BLACK FLAG and DISCHARGE (!!), the second – taking the whole B-side of the LP – is just RAW POWER at the top of their game, “Screams from the gutter” setlist and that invincible line-up with Helder on drums with all the hits that you want to hear with a powerful and aggressive sound. 26 SONGS IN TOTAL. The rare B.B. demo 1988 until now available only as digital files, for the very first time on vinyl! LINE-UP: Bones – guitar, Tezz – vocals, Bazz – drums, Darren – bass. 6 songs, total Hardcore attack with a metallic touch. Official re-release on LP of the well received digipack CD edition that came out on FOAD 3 years ago. R.P.’s first legendary 12″ “You are the victim” (1983) back on vinyl in a top quality edition after many years, enriched by an incredible extra feature: the completely unknown and unreleased “God’s course” demo 1982 that we recently found in TVOR’s archives, recorded even before Mauro Codeluppi joined the band, and seeing his brother Giuseppe and Silvio trading vocal duties delivering embryonic versions of their early anthems. “You are the victim” has been transferred from the original reels and remastered for the best sounding result ever, still maintaining the raw and energetic impact these Italian HC masters are well known for.

2nd pressing of this timeless Italian Punk masterpiece, housed in a stunning deluxe gatefold sleeve including a 12″x12″ book filled with never-seen-before drawings by Luca Abort, plus photos, liner notes and lyrics, this is easily among the most elegant and high quality packaging ever made for an Italian HC/Punk band on vinyl. One of the most essential discography releases in the whole history of Italian Punk, finally seeing the light after years of hard strains and endless stalemates. NERORGASMO, the blackest and most sincere face of Torino’s Dark/Punk nihilism in the ’80s and early ’90s, the true sound of urban decadence in the city that generated some of the most active and creative Punk/HC acts back in the “furious years” of Italian hardcore (think of NEGAZIONE, DECLINO, 5# BRACCIO, KOLLETTIVO etc). SURPRISE!! If you thought that we were closing down for an August break to comeback in September with new releases, you guessed wrong. We’re still here with another top quality RAW POWER release, this time a redux edition of “After you brain” repackaged in a deluxe digipack version, with the best quality sound you could dream it to have, completely pulverising the previous editions.

Following the path of their groundbreaking masterpiece “Screams from the gutter” (1984), RAW POWER’s third delivery “After your brain” (1987) strengthens the band’s well-oiled Hardcore intensity performed at unbeatable technical precision for the times spicing it up with additional influences, ranging from Metal to guitar driven HardRock, but never losing that speed and punk fueled rage that characterized their sound so greatly. Recorded in one of Italy’s most credited studios of those years, “After you brain” was released with an uncomplete and rushed mix that left the band partially satisfied of the final result.  27 years later and for the first time ever, we re-transfered each channel from the master reels and remixed it scrupulously at Toxic Basement Studio under the band’s direct supervision. This is how it was supposed to be back then and how Raw Power themselves always wished it to sound like.
