FOAD‘s summer kicks in with a total Hardcore classic, a deluxe gatefold LP reissue of RAW POWER “Screams from the gutter“! After premiering it at France’s Hellfest Open Air we are finally starting to ship all the preordered copies. There’s still a handful of half’n’half splattered copies ltd to 100, don’t miss the chance!

“Screams from the gutter” lands back in Italy! Many of you will agree that this is the finest Italian HC offering ever made and easily one of the 10 world’s best Hardcore records of the 80s… over 40.000 copies sold and still sounding fresh and up-to-date even when compared to modern HC standards. 17 gems of intense, no-frills HC with a bombastic drummer, fantastic guitar riffs and angry vocals. It’s a difficult comparison with their other early output – “You Are The Victim” and the excellent material released by BCT – but after all “Screams From The Gutter” marks Raw Power’s peak due to its superior production.

The band’s simple yet instantly memorable riffs bring to mind Black Flag, but also earlier groups like the Who, AC/DC, and of course, the Stooges. Throw in some cool harmonics, rockin’ solos, a cowbell, and a guitar player with hell-shriek vocals, a fucking huge afro and pointy shoes, and you have this flawless classic!! FOAD‘s treatment for this all time colossus includes a deluxe gatefold LP with lyrics and rare/unreleased photos + a scrupolous mastering that respects in detail the original reel’s sound leaving full breathe and dynamics to its original impact and (raw) power!

So there’s no secret to keep hidden anymore, we have been on this colossus for a really looooong time facing a lot of unexpected difficulties but now we can take a deep breathe as it’s finally in production seeing the light soon. WEHRMACHT “The complete beer soaked collection 1985/1989” boxset consisting of 5 x gatefold LPs, 2 x CDs and a thick book is FOAD team’s ultimate dream to come true!

This includes ALL the band’s existing recordings, both complete albums, all demos, obscure split tapes, unreleased out takes and soundboard live material. 104 SONGS (!) of the fastest and most deranged shark endorsed US Thrash-core, scrupulously mastered from the best sounding sources existing, provided by band members and friends. This is all what you could dream to have to complete your Wehrmacht collection in the best possible sound quality. The official release date is set for the band’s special show at the Obscene Extreme Festival in Trutnov, Czech Republic, while pre-orders will start around July 1st 2014. RAW POWER “You are the victim / God’s course” digipack CD out now on FOAD Records!!

Shortly after launching the head-splitting 32 song cyclone that is Cripple Bastards’ “Live to hate people” CD, we are proud to announce another classic of crushing, unrelenting Italian Hadcore… RAW POWER “You are the victim / God’s course” is finally here and ready to ship!!

R.P.’s first legendary debut 12″ (1983) in its best sounding version ever, enriched by an incredible extra feature: the completely unknown/unreleased “God’s course” Demo 1982 (14 songs) that we recently found in TVOR’s archives, recorded even before Mauro Codeluppi joined the band, and seeing his brother Giuseppe and Silvio trading vocal duties delivering embryonic versions of their early anthems.

 

“You are the victim” has been transfered from the original reels and remastered at Toxic Basement Studio (for those following FOAD, a guarantee of quality!), still mantaining the raw and energetic impact these Italian HC champions are well known for.  Deluxe digipack CD with 12 page booklet filled with early day photos, flyers and rare excerpts.
