Ci siamo!

Vinile trasparente fumé (180 grammi) limitato a 200 copie

SKRUIGNERS “Finalmente vi odio davvero” LP (F.O.A.D. 223)

Vinile marmorizzato bianco/blu (180 grammi) limitato a 200 copie

Edizione diehard in vinile bronzo (180 grammi) limitata a 100 copie

Vinile nero (180 grammi) limitato a 200 copie

Here we are, our May releases have just been delivered by the pressing plant and we are ready to ship.  As already announced, this month is all dedicated to Italian Hardcore with two LP’s by SKRUIGNERS, respectively “Grazie di tutto” (1999) and “Finalmente vi odio davvero” (2001) both appearing for the very first time on vinyl, plus the total discography of BLAXFEMA, a raging HC unit from the mid ’80s formed by members of Wrong Boys. The most limited versions of the two SKRUIGNERS records are already sold out on preorder, we’ve still got a few of those ltd. to 200 (splatter blue/white and smokey clear) so hurry up if you want to catch them before they’re gone forever.  Part of the orders have been sent already, the remaining ones will be all shipped in the incoming week.

SKRUIGNERS “Grazie di tutto” LP (F.O.A.D. 222)

An unmatched 90’s Italian Hardcore classic for the first time on vinyl!  Formed in 1996 not far from Milano, SKRUIGNERS have somehow slipped under the radar not being much recognized by the international HC community, although at the same time in Italy through their 15-year career they have always packed all kind of venues and squats with hundreds of punks stagediving and singing along each of their anthems word by word. Their style takes the renewed adrenalinic approach of the best contemporary HC of their time (above Torino’s bands like early Crunch, Belli-Cosi and Arturo) also paying attention to the ’80s school of pioneering legends like Declino, Impact, Crash Box etc.. evolving it with a personal touch – at times spiced up with a Punk Rock vibe, yet keeping it always fast, young and rageful.  “Grazie di tutto” is their second full length, recorded in 1999 and originally published on CD only by Tube Records. Here you get it for the first time on LP (180 grams), specially mastered for vinyl for the most powerful sonic impact, coming with a booklet that includes lyrics and photos of that time. Watch the trailer HERE

Smokey clear vinyl (180 grams) limited to 200

SKRUIGNERS “Finalmente vi odio davvero” LP (F.O.A.D. 223)

The band’s iconic third full length for the first time on vinyl!  18 songs of rapid, no frills Italian Hardcore – the album that consolidated their style based on energy, sincerity, rage, and estabilished them as one of the Italian HC acts with the largest fanbase in their country. Evolving the formula adopted on previous works, “Finalmente vi odio davvero” (2001) combines the best of ’90s Hardcore (think of early Crunch and Arturo) with the roots coming from furious Italian HC pioneers (as a matter of fact here you’ll also find a cover of DECLINO‘s “Mortale tristezza“).  Even if they never reached the deserved recognition abroad, each track on this record is a memory of completely sold out venues and bloody pits of punks stagediving and singin’ along.  Pressed on 180 gram vinyl, specially mastered for the most powerful sonic impact, including a booklet with lyrics and photos of that time.  Watch the trailer HERE

Marble blue/white vinyl (180 grams) limited to 200

BLAXFEMA “Urla di dolore 1984-1986” LP+CD (F.O.A.D. 229)

Another incredible Italian Hardcore gem from the “furious years” not to be missed… Founded in fall 1984 on the ashes of WRONG BOYS (that have also been reissued on F.O.A.D. recently), BLAXFEMA continued along the same path delivering fast, angry and political Hardcore. This complete discography includes their classic “Menes” Demotape 1985 straight from the reels and a never-heard-before soundboard live/rehearsal that shows them at the top of their game!!  24 TRACKS of sincere, crucial Hardcore recommended if you also like INFEZIONE, DECLINO, IMPACT and early European thrashing HC in general.  Pressed on 180 gram vinyl, comes with a full colored photo insert and a fanzine styled booklet with liner notes, rare flyers, scans of the original tapes, Virus related press pages, extra artworks and a lot more!! Watch the trailer HERE

Available in the following versions:

Diehard bronze vinyl (180 grams) limited to 100 copies

Solid black vinyl (180 grams) limited to 200 copies

THE LEGEND OF KANSAI HARDCORE – Book, THE RUSTLER “1988-1994” 2xLP, SWINDLE BITCH “Lonely wolf like a storm – 1993-1995” LP, THE UNDESIRABLES “s/t” LP… preorders start NOW!!

Posted in Kansai HC book, Pre Orders, Releases, Rustler, Swindle Bitch, The Undesirables on April 12th, 2021 by foadmaster2022

This is a very special month for F.O.A.D. Records, because the main release that we are going to present is a book, a kind of item that isn’t that frequent in the line of releases of a record label… Years ago we published “Dritti contro un muro” – the definitive book on the history of Italian Hardcore/Punk in the ’80s, now we’re back on a similar experiment… What we are going to introduce now is a book documenting the history of Hardcore in a specific area of Japan, the Kansai region. The development of this project required enormous efforts and above all in many cases it meant finding ourselves slammed doors in our face by many people we asked for help in translating. But at the end, due to a really lucky situation, our paths crossed with an old friend who has lived in Tokyo for a long time, married to a Japanese girl, and from him the input and the opportunity to complete this project was reborn! Finally we are happy to announce that the English version of “THE LEGEND OF KANSAI HARDCORE” is ready!! Written by Ishiya of DEATH SIDE and FORWARD in collaboration with Shintani of RAPES, this book is a unique report about the scene that gave birth to legendary bands such as ZOUO, S.O.B., OUTO, RAPES, WARHEAD, NIGHTMARE, MOBS and many more. The book is packed with interviews, rare photos (in stunning quality, full coloured) and at the end you’ll find an extra section all dedicated to the many Japanese Hardcore / Punk / Metal releases on F.O.A.D. Records. And to make it even more outstanding, we have prepared a limited hard-bound cover version with an incredible bonus: a ZOUO / RAPES split flexi disc with unreleased recordings of both bands… ZOUO’s rare track “731” is not appearing on the recent “Agony remains” discography on Relapse!

In conjunction with this, it made sense to release more themed material, so we picked two Japanese bands that we had in our pipeline for some time, both are classic ’80s-’90s Shizuoka Hardcore ragers and both feature a Japanese legend in HC drumming: Akiyama. We’re talking about The RUSTLER and SWINDLE BITCH, of which we’re glad to present total discographies for the first time on vinyl. And to complete another deadly race of F.O.A.D. releases that will hardly be forgotten, we’re moving to the UK to introduce The UNDESIRABLES, a new Hardcore beast seeing the joint venture of two iconic characters that wrote the history of British Punk: TEZZ (Discharge, Broken Bones, Battalion Of Saints and more) & RAT (Varukers, Discharge, The Vile and more)!! So to sum it all up: “THE LEGEND OF KANSAI HARDCORE” – Book (diehard edition with ZOUO / RAPES flexi disc!!), THE RUSTLER1988-1994” gatefold 2xLP, SWINDLE BITCHLonely wolf like a storm – Complete Swindle Bitch 1993-1995” LP and THE UNDESIRABLES “s/t” LP on F.O.A.D. Records are all available on preorder. It goes without saying that the limited versions of these releases will not last long, as we’ve already got hundreds of requests, so we strongly advise you to act fast if you want to secure them to your collection!  Planned release date: April 22, 2021!

THE LEGEND OF KANSAI HARDCORE – Book (F.O.A.D. 230)

“Kansai” is a region in Japan that lies in the southern-central territory of Japan’s main island Honshū and includes the prefectures of Mie, Nara, Wakayama, Kyoto, Osaka, Hyōgo and Shiga. The metropolitan area of Osaka, Kobe and Kyoto is the second-most populated in Japan after the Greater Tokyo Area. This book, previously published only in Japanese and now finally translated into English, is incredible journey through the depths of the Kansai Hardcore hell run by none other than Ishiya of DEATH SIDE and FORWARD fame. Teaming up with him in the interviews is Shintani from RAPES, whose career stretches from the early days of the Punk/Metal scene to the present. Packed with interviews, tons of interesting anecdotes and spiced up with rare pictures, this is the definitive work about that legendary scene, a true-to-the-bone, authentic Hardcore report… Bands included: ZOUO, S.O.B., OUTO, RAPES, WARHEAD, NIGHTMARE, MOBS, Charmy & Pon (LAUGHIN’ NOSE, NASHI) and more! Expanded version with an extra chapter all dedicated to the many Japanese Hardcore/Punk/Metal releases on F.O.A.D. Records with artwork and info. All written in English! 172 pages, full color.  Watch the trailer HERE

The RUSTLER “1988-1994” gatefold LP (F.O.A.D. 225)

Another Japanese Hardcore gem on F.O.A.D. Records! Ultrafast, raging, powerful – three words to describe the overall feeling that we get approaching to any of the legendary names spawned by the Shizuoka HC scene. And with no doubt, The RUSTLER were one of the best representatives from there. Here you get their complete discography 1988-1994 consisting of their debut flexi disc, split 7″s with So What and Swindle Bitch, songs from “Shizuoka City Hardcore” and “Who’s chained up to the dogs of outrage!!” compilations and additional rare tracks never released on vinyl until now. 34 songs of uncompromised anger and speed, featuring Akiyama on drums (also in SWINDLE BITCH, ZAMZA, FORWARD and many more). This anthology shows the band’s progression from the early proto-blasting thrash assault of their s/t 10 song flexi disc, not far from the style of Deadless Muss (in their second phase) and early S.O.B., to a more traditional Japanese Hardcore approach. Double LP with gatefold jacket, OBI strip and 20 page booklet including a wide selection of rare photos, gig flyers and scans of the original releases. Watch the trailer HERE

BRIGADA DO ÓDIO “S/T discography” LP (F.O.A.D. 224)

NOISECORE FROM 1984!!!!!!! The longly awaited full discography by these pioneering Noisecore Punks from Brazil, among the earliest and most annihilating sonic terrorists of the ’80s! These maniacs were responsible for a crazily fast Chaos-Thrash long before the British explosion of Grindcore or the arrival of bands like AxCx, Sore Throat and the likes, and they were equally extreme and out of control… the blasting tornado on their split with OLHO SECO from 1985 was way ahead of their time in terms of outrageous speed and ear-splitting distortion. This exhaustive discography LP includes the following: Split LP with OLHO SECO (both versions. 1985), INFRATORES (pre-BRIGADA DO ÓDIO! 1984), s/t EP (2002) and “Diáspora” EP (2006, for the first time on vinyl!). 50 TRACKS!!

Comes with a booklet with rare photos, original artworks and biographical notes written by the band. Co-released with Insane Noise Distro from Brazil. Watch the trailer HERE

Solid black vinyl (180 grams) limited to 250 copies.

After years in the making it’s time to unleash “The Complete And Official Nuctemeron’s Discography 1989-1991“!! Grinding, deranged Death/Noise terror from the sickest Brazilian necro-underground… of the same ferocious breed that spawned sonic aberrations such as Necrobutcher, Hell Noise, Exterminio Brutal, Dissector, Trucidator, Necrofago and loads more. Brutal, primitive blackened Noise/Grind performed with cannibalistic roughness. This anthology compiles the following:

– “Industrial Pollution” Demo (1990)

– 3 different rehearsal tapes (1989-1991)

– “Last Massacre” live in Santa Maria (1991)

51 tracks of cacophonous aural butchery!! Comes with 16 page booklet full of rare photos, original demos’ scans and more.  Watch the trailer HERE

INDUSTRIAL SUICIDE “1989-2019” LP (F.O.A.D. 217)

The first ever vinyl discography of these Greek filthy Crustcore veterans! Founded by members of Sound Pollution and Sadistic Noise, INDUSTRIAL SUICIDE were clearly inspired by the late ’80s Manic Ears/Peaceville generation that took the school of Discharge, Amebix and Antisect to a new stage of stenching heaviness, at times pushing the pedal to Grind-Punk speed, keeping a line of continuity with the extremity of their predecessors, the legendary Sound Pollution. This collection includes their Demo 1989, Rehearsal 1989, unreleased tracks 1990 and bonus sessions recorded from 2017 to 2019 (including a song with Bri/Doom on guitar and an Antisect cover).

Old styled Crust/HC detonation for fans of Doom, Sore Throat, Deviated Instinct, Mortal Terror. LP including a fanzine styled booklet with photos, flyers, original demos’ scans and liner notes!  Watch the trailer HERE

Back with a vengeance! As the last F.O.A.D. month was all centered on Metal territories, digging through the darkest crypts of rare and hallucinating Death/Thrash relics, now it’s time to change course and return to a well-tested formula that has often been our trademark. 4 bands whose common denominator is speed and sonic annihilation, be it pioneering Noisecore Punk, bestial Death/Noise, old school Crustcore or Pathological Grind sickness as in the cases that we’re about to introduce. So… what a month!

Check this out: BRIGADA DO ÓDIO from Brazil, a band that was already playing hyperfast Noise/Thrash back in 1985 and that sounds way more extreme than any other proto-grind generators reissued on F.O.A.D. so far, then we have their country-fellows NUCTEMERON, a real obscure gem, up to now only recognized in the diehard tape-trading circles of psychos… a blackened Noise/Grind horde of the same ferocious breed that spawned sonic aberrations such as Necrobutcher, Hell Noise, Exterminio Brutal, Dissector, Trucidator, Necrofago and loads more, then moving to Europe: INDUSTRIAL SUICIDE, raw Crustcore veterans from Greece for those who miss the early Peaceville/Manic Ears wave of Grind/Punk, formed in 1989 by members of Sound Pollution and Sadistic Noise and to top it off… a brand new opus from the Czech Republic that will make your day if you’re missing the real soul of the original Pathological Grindcore (“Reek of putrefaction“, “Above the mind of morbidity“, “Effortless regurgitation of bright red blood” just to mention a few), we’re talking of SICK SINUS SYNDROME, a devastating forensic Gore/Grind all-star team featuring Bilos (Malignant Tumour), Jürgen (Ahumado Granujo, Ingrowing) and Hary (Pathologist).

So to sum it all up: BRIGADA DO ÓDIOS/T discography” LP, NUCTEMERONPosers mutilation 1989-1991” LP / CD, INDUSTRIAL SUICIDE1989-2019” LP and SICK SINUS SYNDROMERotten to the core” LP are all available for preorders. As usual we made some special diehard versions on some unique marbled/swirl variants, our friends at the pressing plant are often testing new interesting color mixes that have been rarely seen before and that perfectly match with the artwork and style of the bands we release… these are expected to sell out quickly, so we strongly recommend you to blast fast and secure them to your collection!

SCHIZO  “Delayed Death – 1984/1989 The Years Of Collapse” 2xCD Digipack (F.O.A.D. 206)

Ultra fucking FAST Sicilian Thrash-core assault!! The most exhaustive SCHIZO early days’ collection you can dream about. A deluxe Double CD set compiling the following:

CD 1 – “Main frame collapse” album (1989)

CD 2 –  “Before the collapse 1985-1987” Demo collection consisting of:  “MFC” Demo (1987) / “Total Schizophrenia” Demo (1986) / “Thrash the unthrashable, thrash to kill” Demo (1985) / Bonus rehearsals (1985)

31 songs of what was with no doubt one of the most deranged, fast and original Extreme Metal acts in the Italian scene of the ’80s.  If you also count in the early stuff by their brothers-in-mayhem Necrodeath, these were the first examples of hyper-speed driven thrashin’ Death Metal from Italy, that in more simple words equals “the first blast beats to ever land on the Italian Metal territories“. All these treasures mastered from the best sounding 1st generation sources provided and approved by the band.

This monsterwork portrays in the most effective way the band’s evolution from their nihilistic thrashing Hardcore roots to the sadistic nerve ripping sonic torment of their “Total schizophrenia” Demo (mentioned by Max Cavalera as one of the reasons why he choose “Schizophrenia” as title for Sepultura‘s 2nd masterpiece) to their absolute cult debut “Main Frame Collapse“. Fans of ultra fast blasting Thrash a la Wehrmacht, early Sadus, Merciless, Sarcofago… this is a must have!  Housed in a 8 panel digipack including two booklets for a total of 40 pages full of rare photos, flyers, scans of the original tapes and lyrics!  Watch the trailer HERE
