RAW POWER “You are the victim / God’s course” gatefold LP and NERORGASMO “Passione nera 1985-1993” 2xLP discography (re-release) … out NOW!!

Posted in Nerorgasmo, Raw Power, Releases on August 31st, 2016 by foadmaster2022

As previously announced we are ending the summer with two timeless Italian Hardcore/Punk classics: Poviglio’s legendary HC heroes RAW POWER and Torino’s blackened Punk nihilists NERORGASMO.  Most preorders have been sent already and the last batch will be mailed before the end of the week. The ltd. mailorder editions on colored vinyl are almost finished, if you still want to get it we strongly suggest to act fast.  So, RAW POWERYou are the victim / God’s course” gatefold LP and NERORGASMOPassione nera 1985-1993” 2xLP Gatefold + book are both OUT NOW!!

So more in detail about each release:

RAW POWER “You are the victim / God’s course” gatefold LP (F.O.A.D. 044/LP)

Official re-release on LP of the well received digipack CD edition that came out on FOAD 3 years ago. R.P.’s first legendary 12″ “You are the victim” (1983) back on vinyl in a top quality edition after many years, enriched by an incredible extra feature: the completely unknown and unreleased “God’s course” demo 1982 that we recently found in TVOR’s archives, recorded even before Mauro Codeluppi joined the band, and seeing his brother Giuseppe and Silvio trading vocal duties delivering embryonic versions of their early anthems. “You are the victim” has been transferred from the original reels and remastered for the best sounding result ever, still maintaining the raw and energetic impact these Italian HC masters are well known for.

Highly influential Hardcore at its top, fast blistering drums, inhuman 6 string execution and rabid vocals plus the screaming mad assault of “Fuck authority“, “Raw power” and “Don’t let me see it” that gave a vital input to tons of speed/HC maniacs that came in the years to follow. The first Italian HC band that toured the USA and brought Italian Hardcore on the international maps. Deluxe gatefold sleeve filled with early day photos, flyers and rare inserts.

Available in 2 different versions:

Die-hard edition strictly limited to 100 copies in half black half ultra-clear vinyl with blood red splattering on the transparent half

Regular black vinyl limited to 400 copies

==================

NERORGASMO “Passione Nera” gatefold 2xLP + book (F.O.A.D. 046 – 2nd edition)

2nd pressing of this timeless Italian Punk masterpiece, housed in a stunning deluxe gatefold sleeve including a 12″x12″ book filled with never-seen-before drawings by Luca Abort, plus photos, liner notes and lyrics, this is easily among the most elegant and high quality packaging ever made for an Italian HC/Punk band on vinyl. One of the most essential discography releases in the whole history of Italian Punk, finally seeing the light after years of hard strains and endless stalemates. NERORGASMO, the blackest and most sincere face of Torino’s Dark/Punk nihilism in the ’80s and early ’90s, the true sound of urban decadence in the city that generated some of the most active and creative Punk/HC acts back in the “furious years” of Italian hardcore (think of NEGAZIONE, DECLINO, 5# BRACCIO, KOLLETTIVO etc). This double LP is a complete collection of their recorded material, 44 songs (5 more than the previous CD/DVD on FOAD), including their first legendary EP remastered from a 1st generation tape before it was pressed on vinyl (so you won’t hear any old vinyl crackles), the 1993 album remastered from the studio DAT, 9 completely UNRELEASED studio tracks (1987) and a great selection of live footage 1986-1993.

Musically, this was a unique brand of blackened HC/Punk the Italian way crossed with some sinister Dark/Rock influences and the incredibly expressive vocals of Luca Abort (RIP) mixing rage with his sick sarcastic moods. Check the review on GoodBadMusic: “Italy’s NERORGASMO (translates as “Black Orgasm” – wonderful!) released one of the darkest and most original sounding records of the 80s. Backwards message, weird sounds and ultra evil, CCM-like riffing, creating a sickly sweet atmosphere of lascivious cross-downturning. Just the way we love it so much! What is anarchy and subversion if there’s not some good old satanism involved.

Available in 2 different versions:

Die-hard edition strictly limited to 100 copies in half black half purple vinyl with a bonus discography tape pro-copied on dark violet cassettes with 10 panel J-card

Regular black vinyl limited to 400 copies

Now more in detail about each release:

Asocial “Det Bittra Slutet +” double LP (F.O.A.D. 108)

Total Swedish Hardcore mangel at its best! Credited by heavy metal expert Daniel Ekeroth as the true inventors of the ‘blast-beat’ and the originators of grindcore (he defines ASOCIAL as ‘key to any survey of estreme music‘ in his book ‘Swedish Death Metal‘), ASOCIAL are a total cult among old European Hardcore Punk collectors. This monster anthology (55 SONGS) on double LP has been entirely compiled by the band using the original 1/4″ reels and 1st generation tapes, it has been edited and mastered by the band and even the whole layout has been put together by them using rare photos, flyers, cassette covers, liner notes and more!

It includes the legendary “Det bittra slutet” EP (1984) with its previous demo and unreleased tracks from the same session, the complete “Asocial Attack” cassette (the one that it’s assumed to feature some of the first blast beats ever landed on this planet!), an extra rehearsal from the same period, extra demo tracks 1983-1984 (among which the songs included on the “No war no more Vol. II” Comp. Tape) and 15 live tracks (the complete Split cassette with Distrust + 2 more songs recorded in Hedemora).  What to add?  If you like the fastest Scandinavian Hardcore/Punk and your daily drug is the insanely raw devastation of bands like Mob 47, Anti Cimex, The Shitlickers, Crude SS, Discard and the many “really fast” treasures that came out of the Swedish scene in the early ’80s, then this double LP is an absolute must for your collection!  Housed in a glossy UV laminated gatefold cover including a 8 page booklet!

Regular edition on solid back vinyl, limited to 400 copies

==================

Sore Throat “Disgrace to the corpse of Sid”  gatefold LP (F.O.A.D. 107)

One of the scariest, most terrific records in the history of music finally comes back to light in a deluxe FOAD-treatment reissue!  This 103 monstrosity (yes, it was 103 not 101 as written on the 1st pressing’s sticker) originally released in 1989 and surrounded by many controversies between the band and Earache Records, still stands as an unmatched assault of catastrophic Noisecore savagery. Call it Grind, Noise, Britcore or whatever… but if we talk of the most extreme shit ever released on a full length 12″, “Disgrace To The Corpse Of Sid” certainly stands among the top 5 of all times. As Rich mentions: “Lion Studios was hit with a barrage of Noise even more extreme than before, as we decided to up the ante, and go for over 100 tracks on the record.” Side A consists of 90 machine-gun bursts of apocalyptic dementia, while Side B slows down for 13 anguished Sludge/Punk anthems at times recalling the industrial mood of Saw Throat’s “Indestroy” LP.

This new edition has been entirely remastered for vinyl from the best sounding sources and re-packaged in a thick gatefold sleeve including lyrics and extensive liner notes by Rich “Militia“. And it adds a special outrageous surprise that won’t be revealed here, you have to see it!

Available in 2 different versions:

Die-hard edition in half black half yellow (with green splattering) vinyl, limited to 100 copies

Regular edition on solid back vinyl, limited to 400 copies

==================

The Gerogerigegege “Moenai Hai” LP (F.O.A.D. 109)

Welcome the return of one of Japan’s highest expressions of deranged Noise ever conceived!! Over 30 years of extraordinary nonsense anti-musical craziness of the sickest kind, this is the first record released after a mysterious hiatus of 15 years and also the first full length LP in almost 2 decades. And as always, the genius of Juntaro Yamanouchi leaves us pleasantly thrilled…  “燃えない灰” (Moenai Hai) is an eclectic journey in obscurity that alternates Dark Ambient and Noise Rock to bursts of pure mindblowing sonic violence.  The second track “ゲロゲリゲゲゲ / “The Gerogerigegege” above all is the remake of an old song (written in 1985) and this newer version has Dr. Euro of the legendary Execute on drums, giving it a solid Punk feel.

It’s a crescendo with an ultra-noisy guitar turning increasingly saturated and deflagrating, recalling the weird sonic approach of previous works of cult like “Senzuri Power Up“. If you’re a follower of this unstoppable master of noise and you enjoy his previous aural crimes, this new effort will definitely make you wish for more!

Limited edition on ultra dark blue vinyl (250 copies)

Whirlwind Noise/Hardcore mangel on FOAD!! ASOCIAL, SORE THROAT and THE GEROGERIGEGEGE up for preorders!!

Posted in Asocial, Gerogerigegege, Pre Orders, Releases, Sore Throat on July 12th, 2016 by foadmaster2022

Watch out! July is the month of our “OEF specials“, as all of you know – like every year, we’re attending the world’s craziest Extreme Musick festival introducing some new ear-damaging FOAD aberrations to the masses. And this time we totally outdid ourselves, as we’re going there to premiere 3 RELEASES, a triple attack of terrific Noisecore/Punk/Hardcore hostility. 3 names from Sweden, UK and Japan that truly represent the core and the roots of their countries’ underground extremity. Scandinavia’s raw Punk/Hardcore speed maniacs ASOCIAL with a double LP anthology tracing their early years’ discography, England’s most horrendous Drunk/Noise unit SORE THROAT with the longly awaited top-quality re-issue of their classic “Disgrace to the corpse of Sid” and last but not least, the incredible comeback of Japan’s Noise mastermind, THE GEROGERIGEGEGE, with his brand new full length “Moenai Hai“. These 3 ear-pummelling human sacrifices on vinyl are now available on preorder via scareystore.com (we’ll start to ship them on July 28th 2016). And if you’re attending the Obscene Extreme Festival in Trutnov, Czech Republic make sure to visit FOAD Records‘ tent because we’ll already have them available there, also in their limited die-hard versions!

BULLDOZER “The day of wrath” and “The final separation” gatefold LPs out NOW on FOAD Records! Die-hard limited Japanese editions delayed (approx 1 week)!!

Posted in Bulldozer, Releases on June 28th, 2016 by foadmaster2022

The wait is over and as previously announced, we have 2 new FOAD releases ready to attack…

BULLDOZERThe day of wrath” gatefold LP and “The final separation” gatefold LP are both out today!!

Unfortunately the ultra-limited Japanese editions on splatter vinyl with OBI-strip (BOTH SOLD OUT) are delayed due to a pressing mistake from the vinyl factory, so while all preorders for the black and oxblood / magenta editions have been sent already, if you ordered the die-hard JPN version please be patient a bit more… we will hopefully get it in 7-10 days and start to ship immediately as soon as we receive it.

Ok, more in detail about each LP:

BULLDOZER “The day of wrath” gatefold LP (F.O.A.D. 105)

The ground-breaking debut full length of Italy’s most respected Metal band of all times finally back to light on LP after more than 3 decades. Originally released in 1985 and never repressed on vinyl since then, here it comes in a new edition, specially remastered from 1st generation sources provided by the band and re-packaged in a thick gatefold sleeve with unseen photos and lyrics (in English + the original early drafts typed in Italian).

BULLDOZER‘s first album is a total classic of blackened evil Metal taking the rawest school of VENOM and MOTÖRHEAD to an unbelievably powerful and wicked sonic impact, bearing the malevolent flame of “Black Metal” and “Welcome to Hell” and injecting it with a renewed intensity. For anyone into old school Black Metal to not own this is a crime! This is for anyone that worships the early releases from Venom, Bathory and Sodom.. WELCOME DEATH!

Available in 3 different versions:

Die-hard Japanese edition on splatter clear/white/purple striped vinyl + OBI strip in Japanese, limited to 100 copies only SOLD OUT ON PREORDER

Limited oxblood red vinyl (150 copies)

Regular black vinyl

==================

BULLDOZER “The final separation” gatefold LP (F.O.A.D. 106)

The 2nd full length of Italy’s Metal masters BULLDOZER!  Originally released in 1986 and never repressed on LP for 30 years, here it finally comes in a new edition specially remastered for vinyl directly from the studio reels provided by the band and re-packaged in a gatefold sleeve with unreleased photos and lyrics (scans of the original typed drafts). “The final separation” is a devastating follow-up to their cult debut “The day of wrath” that adds a strong Speed/Thrash Metal vibe to their well-tested Black Metal meets dirty R’n’R tinged aggression!

All in all, this is another good confirm of the goodness of the Bulldozer’s sound back in the 80s and it’s good to recommend it to the old school fans of this lethal black/speed combination. For all its length, the nastiness of the speed metal and the brutal influences of bands like VENOM and MOTÖRHEAD collide to create another high impact effort, in pure 80s style!! RIDE HARD… DIE FAST!!

Available in 3 different versions:

Die-hard Japanese edition on splatter orange/red striped vinyl + OBI strip in Japanese, limited to 100 copies only SOLD OUT ON PREORDER

BULLDOZER “The day of wrath” and “The final separation” gatefold LPs… preorders are open NOW!

Posted in Bulldozer, Pre Orders, Releases on June 13th, 2016 by foadmaster2022

What’s brewing in FOAD‘s unstoppable cauldron of death for this month? Once again two ageless classics of the rawest and most uncompromised Italian Metal ever conceived… They have been in the pipeline for years and now they are finally ready to be unleashed: we are talking about the ultimate vinyl reissues of the first two BULLDOZER albums, “The day of wrath” (1985) and “The final separation” (1986)!! PRE-ORDERS FOR BOTH START NOW, the official release date is scheduled for June 27th 2016 even if we’ll already have a first ltd batch of copies at this week’s Hellfest Open Air in Clisson, France (that we’ll be attending as usual with our massive record stand in the Extreme Market area). We are glad to keep our legacy with our friends Bulldozer stronger than ever, and after releasing several CDs and LPs by them (“The exorcism“, “IX“, “Neurodeliri“) and managing the online sales of their official merch via scareystore.com it’s time for us to complete their 80s vinyl discography on FOAD adding these two supreme masterpieces of infernal morbidity! And as we also did with “IX” and “Neurodeliri” we prepared some limited highly collectable Japanese editions to celebrate the solid fan-base that the Bulls always had in the land of the rising sun. They will be soon available at the main underground record stores in Tokyo like our friends Record Boy and Record Shop Base and in very limited quantity also through our mailorder, but they are expected to sell out at the speed of light so as someone would suggest: RIDE HARD… ORDER FAST!!
