YACOPSAE “discoregraphy #2” Double CD and TUMOR 4xCD box: pre-orders start now, FOAD Records’ november Noise onslaught revealed!!

Posted in Pre Orders, Releases, Tumor, Yacopsae on October 22nd, 2013 by foadmaster2022

Last summer we announced a batch of 7 releases that should have come out at the same time, some of you may have noticed that we failed the mission because 2 were left out due to unexpected last minute setbacks. These two outputs coincide with some of the most extreme, disturbing blastbeat friendly Noise/Fastcore/Violence ever crapped by FOAD‘s thrashing machinery and we are pleased to announce that we are going to shoot them out at the same time to annihilate what’s left of your eardrums. Two bands with members in common and a certainty: ultra fucking speed, distortion and violence. Pre-orders for YACOPSAEDiscoregraphy Pt.2” double CD boxset (including 80 page booklet!) and TUMORDiscography 1987-1995” 4xCD “ferret box” are finally open, official release date for both is set on November 4th 2013.

Deep in detail on each release:

– YACØPSÆ “Discoregraphy # 2” Double CD boxset (F.O.A.D. 053) pre-order here:

The longly awaited (and announced since years) second and final installment in the “Discoregraphy” anthology of Germany’s most long-lived and respected Fast-core phenomenon. This 153 SONG monster includes all the band’s full length albums, split albums plus a huge selection of unreleased studio recordings, additional splits, comp tracks and live footage. Both CD’s are filled to the brim and you know what’s the deal: ultra fucking FAST turbo speed violence exploding with that furious hyper-blastbeaten craziness that only these Kraut maniacs can deliver. Short ultrafast and loud fits like a glove when it comes to describe the whirlwind mayhem YACOPSAE fire out through these 2 slabs of call it PowerViolence, fast-core or simply Hardcore played at alien sick speed. And to go more in detail, here’s the exact contents: “Fuck PunkRock.. this is Turbo-Speed-Violence!!” 10″, “Einstweilige vernichtung” LP (also available on vinyl via FOAD), split with Your Kingdom Is Doomed, “Tanz Grosny Tanz” LP, Split LP with Sanity’s Dawn, unreleased studio session 2005, “A fucking tribute to Slap A Ham” v/a, “Violent Noise Party” v/a, Live @ AJZ Welmerskirchen (soundboard) and at last but not least the ancient split tape with Noiseslaughter from 1992! All carefully transfered from 1st generation masters and remastered for the best sounding result. BUT what makes this release really outstanding is the over the top packaging, a deluxe digipack boxset including 2 booklets for a total of 80 PAGES filled with photos, artworks, extensive liner notes, lyrics and more! If you are a YACOPSAE maniac this is an absolute must own, if you’re simply looking for the fastest Hardcore violence on Earth to scare your neighborhood, again.. this is a winner!

– TUMOR “Discography 1987-1995” 4xCD boxset (F.O.A.D. 054) pre-order here:

Countless tracks for the most disturbing, ear bleeding Noise feast ever spawned in the whole FOAD Rec’s long-standing history. Germany’s TUMOR are pioneers of the short song blastcore mayhem rooted in the late 80s that had its most deranged and fucked up peaks thanks to sonic atrocities like ANAL CUNT, 7 MINUTES OF NAUSEA, SORE THROAT, V.N.A. and many more. If you manage to play these 4 discs without interruptions, it really means that you’re deaf or you need an urgent psychiatric session. This boxset includes the ultra-complete collection of all their existing recordings, starting with the demos and going through all their released vinyl works, radio sessions, out takes and live footage. Over 4 hours of mind-blowing chaos exploding through machine-gunning blast beats, cess pool distorted guitar and the most insane nasal grunts you can imagine, a constipated ape raping a razorback being probably the closest portray. And besides the very early demo material, ALL the stuff included here features Emu and Stoffel of Hamburg’s ultrafast turbo speed Violence legends YACØPSÆ, respectively on drums and guitar.. so try to imagine how fast is this madness. Again, countless tracks, a wall of absurd Noisecore degenartion and blastbeats until you fall to the ground deaf.. this is the formula. 4 CD’s housed in an elegant “ferret box” also including a 32 page booklet filled with photos, flyers and informations. Mandatory if you’re mad as fuck and like to reduce your hearing range with tremendous Noisecore the school of ANAL CUNT, 7 MON, STENCH OF CORPSE, CRAWL NOISE, FEAR OF GOD, V.N.A., AUNT MARY and similar aural aberrations!

CRIPPLE BASTARDS “Misantropo a senso unico – redux edition” on digipack CD: pre-orders start now!!

Posted in Cripple Bastards, Events, Pre Orders, Releases on September 10th, 2013 by foadmaster2022

Italy’s most classic Grindcore album ever! We are stoked to announce that pre-orders for “Misantropo a senso unico – redux edition” on digipack CD are finally open!

This has been in the works for 3 years due to enormous difficulties in transfering the original reels that were on a very rare (and unplayable) format. Restored, remixed and remastered with feverish care at Toxic Basement Studio under constant supervision of the band, to keep the original rawness and rage completely intact and utterly reinforced. And there’s even more.. on those reels we found a 4 minute unreleased song, “Separati dal contagio”, which has been entrusted to Sweden’s prog/horror Rock masters ANIMA MORTE for a majestic Goblin meets Frizzi ending result, added on this CD as exclusive bonus. Originally released in 2000, “Misantropo a senso unico” is an incredible outburst of hyperfast hate-fueled Grindcore rooted in the most furious and violent 80s Italian Hardcore. 16 songs of manic speed scream-out-lungs hatred at its most nihilistic form, the band’s absolute manifesto. UK’s Terrorizer Mag quoted it as nr. 6th of the most essential Grindcore albums of all times. S.O.D. / Brutal Truth / Hemlock / Anthrax / Nuclear Assault bassist Dan Lilker about this album: “exquisitely insane hardcore grind that reminds me of why I got into all this shit back in the late Eighties”.

Housed in an elegant digipack with 20 page booklet including all lyrics, liner notes and English translations, wrapped in an external slipcase. The definitive unbeatable re-edition of this album, it can’t sound and look better than this!

NAUSEA “World struggle: demos 1988-1992” gatefold LP on FOAD Records, pre-orders start now!!

Posted in Nausea, Pre Orders, Releases on September 2nd, 2013 by foadmaster2022

Are you ready for a whirlwind assault of seminal L.A. Grindcore? Pre-orders for NAUSEA‘s “World struggle: demos 1988-1992” gatefold LP are open now via FOAD Records / Scareystore, smoothing the way for the band’s upcoming European tour in October 2013 that will leave your eardrums completely pulverized. This is pure old school Grindcore and you can’t get closer to TERRORIZER‘s legendary album “World downfall“. Fact is: about a third of the songs of Terrorizer’s “World downfall” were actually NAUSEA material, the previous band of vocalist Oscar Garcia. Born from the ashes of MAJESTY, they were not a side project of Terrorizer (as many think incorrectly), but a definite band. When Terrorizer broke up in early 1988 Nausea was in fully active. In fact “World Downfall” was recorded posthumously one year later and contained some Nausea songs that Oscar took to complete the album (‘Corporation Pull-in’, ‘Need to Live’, ‘Condemned System’ and the title track ‘World Downfall’ that was in origin a Majesty song). This LP collects the band’s classic “Psychological conflict” EP (1990), the obscure and under-rated “Tumor” Demo (1992) and the entire split Demo with TERRORIZER (1988) bootlegged on vinyl by Headache Rec in the early 90’s.

This is raw, doomy and corrosive death metal tinged GRIND with whirlwind blast beats and those incredible moshing riffs that became so influential when “World Downfall” gained its deserved success. 18 songs in total, as always restored and mastered at Toxic Basement Studio, glossy gatefold sleeve with rare photos and an extensive interview.

Die-hard “tumoral” edition ltd. to 100 in bronze/black/brown splatter vinyl:

Solid black vinyl edition:

CRYPTIC SLAUGHTER “Life in grave + rarities 85/88” gatefold LP with zine + BULLDOZER “The exorcism – demo ’84” gatefold LP, pre-orders start NOW!

Posted in Bulldozer, Cryptic Slaughter, Pre Orders, Releases on June 10th, 2013 by foadmaster2022

We can hardly believe what we’re going to announce here. This month’s release schedule on FOAD Records consists of 2 chapters in the history of Hardcore and Metal. CRYPTIC SLAUGHTER and BULLDOZER, both with ultra-rare and unreleased recordings from their very early days. And yes, pre-orders for these 2 monuments of asskickery are starting now, and we set their official release party at the mighty HELLFEST in Clisson, France – so if you’re going there, make sure to visit the huge Metal Market and find FOAD Records’ booth, because both die-hard versions of these motherfuckers will be already available there.

So going in detail, here’s what you’re going to see:

CRYPTIC SLAUGHTER “Life in grave + rarities 1985/1988” gatefold LP with 36 page zine/booklet

California’s thrashing Speed-core pioneers CRYPTIC SLAUGHTER team up with FOAD Records for an incredible vinyl treasure finally giving the right treatment to their legendary “Life in grave” Demotape 1985 and to an accurate selection of ultra-rare/unreleased recordings ranging from their 3 piece line-up era (1985) to the “Convicted”/”Money talks” days. This release has been in the works for months until we found the top sounding masters in existence and restored them for the best possible audiophile result when pressed on vinyl. Side A includes the band’s Demotape “Life in grave” adding 2 rehearsal tracks from the same period, one is a speeded up HELLHAMMER cover and one is a super-raw version of VENOM‘s “Welcome to hell”. Side B is all focused on the “Convicted”/”Money talks” 4 piece line-up and includes various live recordings and a good sounding rehearsal 1986. All songs here are performed even faster than how they were played on their classic albums. This is how Goodbadmusic.com introduced “Life in grave”: “1985 was a good year for music – bands like SLAUGHTER, NYC MAYHEM, VOOR, WEHRMACHT, HIRAX, DEATH, REPULSION and CRYPTIC SLAUGHTER amazed me and they still blow me away today! Especially this one here with its youthful urgency, its unpolished power and enthusiasm. And stilistically, this was very refreshing. Could you say whether this is more metal or more HC? Does it matter to you?” Being this one of the most important FOAD releases to date, we also dedicated the right passion to the packaging: a stunning reverse board gatefold sleeve and most of all a 36 PAGE zine/booklet stuffed with rare photos, interviews, zine excerpts and gig flyers. If you’re into any kind of fast music be it Thrash, Hardcore, Grind or PowerViolence, you are MAD if you miss this!!

Die-hard edition in “half n half” coloured vinyl (half black with yellow splattering / half red striped with black)

Regular black vinyl

BULLDOZER “The exorcism Demo 1984 + Fallen angel” gatefold LP

The ultra-fucking-rare BULLDOZER Demotape 1984 with kult “Fallen angel” 7″ added as bonus. One of the most incredible findings in FOAD‘s hunting career: only 3 copies of this demo exist, one was sent to Roadrunner, one to King Diamond and one was recently exhumed in AC Wild’s basement and delivered to us for a top quality treatment. This is the recording that got Bulldozer signed to Roadrunner in 1984 and it sounds killer.. different and rawer versions of classics ended on their debut slasher “The day of wrath”. Dark, demonical Black/Speed Metal from the most savage guts of Italy’s early 80s Metal inferno, for anyone that worships the early releases from Venom, Bathory and Possessed, plus the “Fallen angel” session adds that Motörhead touch making this an instant masterpiece of rawness and sheer power. Check out how AC Wild introduced the unreleased Demo recordings: “This tape was sent to Roadrunner and Roadrunner signed us in 1984. It was also submitted to King Diamond to ask if he was interested in being the producer of our album but he refused saying that this stuff sounded “too Punk”!! Comes in a stunning gatefold cover filled with rare/unreleased photos, alternate artworks and liner-notes.

Die-hard edition limited to 100 copies on splatter vinyl (iridescent blood-red mixed with gold + dark speckles)
including an embroidered patch with the band’s logo

Regular black vinyl

Pre-orders for CONCRETE BLOCK “Twilight of the Gods” digipack CD are open, we’ll start to ship on April, 21st 2013. Brand new album delivered by these merciless bone-breakers hailing from Torino, Northern Italy. CONCRETE BLOCK carve a new chapter in sheer brutality and demolish the bars set by today’s Hardcore revivalists delivering a death raid that combines the slow paced groovy Sludgecore heaviness of Crowbar with a solid taste in good old thrashin’ Crossover/HC (think of Crumbsuckers, Sepultura and early day Corrosion Of Conformity).

A Carnivore cover ends the onslaught and proves from which background these outlaws come from.. 8 songs of full-throated rage, backed by a magnificent production. All this served in a FOAD-styled deluxe digipack with 12 page booklet. Hands down the most promising band in today’s Italian Metal/Hardcore scene!

FEAR OF GOD “As statues fell” LP (white and black vinyl / die-hard picture disc) pre-orders start NOW!!

Posted in Fear Of God, Pre Orders, Releases on March 5th, 2013 by foadmaster2022

Here we go! Pre-orders for the longly awaited FEAR OF GOD “As statues fell” LP repress on FOAD Records are finally open! Originally released by Erich Keller’s cult label Off The Disk in 1988, “As statues fell” is an uncompromised manifesto of merciless ear-blasting Noise/Grind at its most savage and annihilating form. Remastered from original mastertapes, spiced up with 9 additional tracks, it now sounds better than ever before. The clean A-side recording is a tour de force with non-stop over the top brutality and highest speed-drumming – no triggers, no overdubs, just extremely brutal power. This was clearly the band’s climax as a live band. The B-side represents the impact on the audience: dirty, raw, violent – like a bunch of rabid dogs jumping off the stage to rip the audience apart. If their debut 21 track Ep (1988) tore you a new asshole, this 33 song version of “As statues fell” will leave you floored with its antitank gun gracefulness!
