As expected, the diehard versions of the two Regurgitate LP’s are completely sold out, the black ones are also going very fast, so don’t sleep on them! Here we are again, as anticipated – there were no F.O.A.D. releases in July, we took a month off to take care of all the orders related to the gigantic AxCx boxset and to tidy up our workspaces a bit. However, we had promised to return with a bloody blast, and we’re practically back with the same insanity with which we left off, because this month too is not for the weak. There’s some Noisecore again – with a manic collection of rare early works by our favorite German psychopaths W.B.I., but above all there’s an avalanche of ruthless grindcore – with 3 bands that really made the history of the genre. On the Gore/Grind side we are finally pleased to reissue all the early day recordings of the Swedish gods REGURGITATE, after almost 3 years of negotiations to get to this result. It had been a long time since a well done reissue of “Effortless regurgitation of bright red blood” had been seen and the one on PIU, in addition to having become expensive and difficult to find, was not a standalone album but a sort of incomplete compilation of assorted recordings.

Finally here you get “Effortless regurgitation…” alone as it was in its first version on Lowland in 1994. And in addition we decided to create a separate LP with the infamous “Torture sessions” which is a collection of RGTE demos and singles from 1991 to 1993. Both available on LP and MC. In addition to these – which are the main course of the month – by popular demand we have decided to reissue TERRORIZER‘s “Before the downfall 1987-1989” both on vinyl in its fourth edition, this time with yellowish sleeve (the previous ones were orange, blue and green) and for the first time also on cassette, in a special double set. And since this month we let ourselves get carried away on the cassette side, we have also added the MC edition of another of our grindcore highlights, namely INSECT WARFARE “Entomological siege”! Please consider that we work like crazies every day and that in the summer some of us also attend open air festivals with the label’s stand, in the case of the recent AxCx pre-orders the amount of useless requests such as “have you shipped?”, “can I have the tracking” etc, long before the release date, has really gotten out of control. All this only generates stress and unnecessary waste of time in replying, please be patient, we do our best to process orders as quickly as possible using good shipping services, everything comes in its turn, days last only 24 hours and we spend the most of our time by working to the fullest, taking care of all this…

Here we are with the final post closing another extremely vital and productive year for F.O.A.D. Records. Despite all the difficulties related to the pandemic, the increases in raw material costs and above all the never-before-seen congestion that has slowed down pressing plants beyond belief, in such tough times we managed to get to 36 releases out in 2021, which for us is truly an absolute record. A record that we’ll do everything we can to break even further in 2022, given the fact that we have an endless list of incredible releases that we can’t wait to reveal! All this is only thanks to all of you who have always continued to support us and appreciate our work – allowing us to keep things rolling strong and stable. To all those who have tenaciously continued to get our releases and of course to the various record stores and distros that helped us get them around: you know who you are and all our efforts and commitment are dedicated to you.

So, as previously announced – we are ending the year with a brain-splitting storm of relentless Noisecore, and the apocalyptic four consists of: SORE THROAT “Who killed Gumby?” LP, CRIPPLE BASTARDS “1991: complete demo sessions and unreleased tracks” LP, W.B.I. / TUMOR “Split” LP and ATROFIA CEREBRAL “Matanza extrema” LP.

All of them are out now, most preorders have been sent so you can hopefully receive them before Xmas. As expected, the diehard colored vinyl versions of all have been sold out on preorder, for some of them the black vinyl run is quite limited too, so we strongly suggest to act fast if you don’t want to miss them! F.O.A.D. Records and scareystore.com will continue to operate without interruption during the upcoming holidays, we’ll try our best to ship orders in real time, if some delays will occur it’ll be due to couriers and post offices. CRUSHING NOISECORE MASSACRE… 444 SONGS!! Just in time for the deadline of its 30th anniversary, here’s the official reissue of CB’s debut demo ’91 (the previous one, recorded in 1989, was only handed to friends and never distributed with a real cover), originally released on the 3-Way split tape with K.S.G. and Dissonance. This special extended version includes a lot of rare extras, most of which have never been published up to now, not even on the massive “Age of vandalism” 4xCD boxset. Usually when we are about to announce the last round of releases of the year we say “ending the year with a blast”, in this case it would be more appropriate to say “ending the year crashing into a brickwall” as what we are about to announce is some of the most annihilating, disturbing and anti-musical sonic horror ever seen on F.O.A.D.! And this also comes in conjunction with a great anniversary: we’re at our 250th release! Can you believe it? Seems like an eternity since when, at the end of 2009, we brought to light our first vinyl work, not counting the incredible DIY history of the previous years… And there is no craziest way to celebrate such a milestone than with a bombing of extreme noise butchery of the sickest type to catapult you back 30 years in a “2021 like 1991” hyperdimension: welcome to F.O.A.D.‘s NOISECORE MONTH!!
