Another gem of obscure ’80s Japanese Hardcore on F.O.A.D. Records.  Hailing from the area of Utsunomiya, Tochigi, this shortly lived outfit delivered the traditional sound of fast, no frills Japanese Hardcore of the late 80s that at times recalls the early Systematic Death EPs and 12″. This LP (silk screened on side B) collects their hard to find flexi 8″ on Asia Record recorded in 1987 and a song from “Enjoy your youth by this Hardcore sampler” mastered from the original reels and gets released in time for their comeback show in memory of their former guitarist Moochin that passed away 30 years ago in fall 1987.

Comes with special OBI strip, a fanzine styled booklet with liner notes, photos and flyers.

VULGARITY KIDS are yet another proof that when it comes to Japanese Hardcore you don’t have to strictly focus only on the classic names because there is an endless panorama of demos, rare records and obscurities that hides some very high quality bands. ASOCIAL “House of gore +” gatefold LP (F.O.A.D. 131)

The third and final installment that completes the ASOCIAL vinyl reissues to make their entire 1982-1994 easily available for all you Scandicore psychos. This LP collects the following: “How could Hardcore be any worse” (split tape with The Bedrövlers, 1984… THEIR FASTEST RECORDINGS EVER!) plus some extra unreleased stuff, songs from “Hardcore for the masses” and “Attack is now suicide” v.a. LPs (both from 1988), the “House of gore” 7″ (1992) and their songs from “Distortion to hell” v.a. CD (1994). All this stuff has been mastered from the original reels and mastertapes.

In 2011 the Swedish Black Metal cult MORBID released the gigantic sampler “YEAR OF THE GOAT“. To celebrate that a very special band was put together in order to perform some MORBID classics live for a selected audience. The band went under the name MÖRBIT and consisted of legendary musicians of the Swedish Extreme Metal scene. Erik of WATAIN on vocals, Tyrant of NIFELHEIM on bass, David of DISMEMBER on guitar, Erik of MERCILESS on guitar and Stjärnvind on drums (ENTOMBED, MERCILESS etc.). The night before the actual concert the band had a final rehearsal at the WATAIN’s “wolf lair” which also was the funeral for Metalion’s SLAYER MAGAZINE. Now a few years later METALION turns 50 and in order to celebrate this unholy event it was decided between all members and of course MORBID & METALION to release a really rare recording of the final rehearsal before the gig the day after. With the help of Erik WATAIN and FOAD Records this was made possible!

Originally self-released on CD back in 1991 and now for the first time on vinyl, this spectacular album has all the features of an early 90s Japanese HC classic: rage, speed, introspective lyrics and an astonishing guitar work made of catchy riffs and some of the most memorable solos of the time, all this backed by a really solid production.  After delivering this great full length and few 7″s the band broke up, some members went on playing with other legendary acts such as Liberate, Crow, Hazard and more.  Specially remastered for vinyl, housed in a gatefold LP including lyrics, flyers, artworks of the time.  Recommended if you like Death Side, Bastard, Poison Arts, Nightmare and other classic Japanese HC ragers of that kind.
