FEAR OF GOD “Pneumatic slaughter – extended version” gatefold LP and ISOLATION AS CULT / ABORTICIDIO “Split” 7″…pre-orders start NOW!!

Posted in Aborticidio, Fear Of God, Isolation As Cult, Pre Orders, Releases on November 17th, 2015 by foadmaster2022

As promised one month ago, “our October/November release schedule is all based on manic fast earblasting Noise in the good old tape-trading days mania…” Of course we keep our word and we’re ready to announce a second round of violence after VNA and Wartorn, and once again you can’t expect anything positive or easily digestible. It’s time for Noisecore at its most savage stage... FEAR OF GOD “Pneumatic slaughter – extended version” gatefold LP and ISOLATION AS CULT / ABORTICIDIO ltd. Split 7″ are up for preorders!! We’ll start to ship on November 28th 2015.  More in detail about each release:

FEAR OF GOD “Pneumatic slaughter – extended version” gatefold LP + poster (F.O.A.D. 084)

4th and last installment in the high-quality FEAR OF GOD vinyl series on F.O.A.D. Records… for those who aren’t familiar to what was released before: “s/t” 7″ as picture disc gatefold EP, “As statues fell” (extended version) as gatefold LP (black, white and picture disc), “Under the chainsaw” (“Konserven” demo + tons of bonus tracks) as gatefold LP (black, blue and picture disc). This LP collects the band’s legendary “Pneumatic slaughter” EP with 6 bonus tracks from the same show (Live 13/2/1988 @ AJZ Reithalle, Bern, Switzerland) + the complete ultra-brutal Burlandingen gig (9/1/1988), for a total of 48 tracks, also featuring covers of GAI, FATAL VISION, SIEGE and LÄRM.

Each session transfered from 1st generation mastertapes provided by Erich Keller and specially mastered for vinyl at Toxic Basement Studio, a guarantee of sonic excellence on this kind of works.  It captures the rawness and mindblowing aggression of F.O.G. at the top of their devastating extremity, with that unique sound no band has been ever able to outdo in terms of brutality and annihilation.  You don’t need many words to explain how this sounds like. Every single frame of FEAR OF GOD is the most extreme and brutal delivery of what has been ever conceived in the clash of sounds between Noisecore and Hardcore. As Erich states: “Hardcore, grindcore, death metal, noise, fuckshitupism – whatever. We didn’t agree on much, but on the following we were unanimous – that Fear Of God should be the most extreme band in the world, or as we would say, the most “brutal.” Every member of the band was under pressure to deliver his contribution with the utmost intensity. The drums had to go as fast as possible, the guitars should grind out riffs as well as produce a wall of noise, the bass and backing vocals should lay the heavily distorted grounds for the overall basic structure and I did everything I could to make my voice sound non-human.” Housed in a deluxe gatefold sleeve with transparent UV-spot and silver foil print + A2 poster with unreleased art by Morbid Mark!

Pre-orderable in 3 different versions:

DIE-HARD PICTURE DISC LP ltd to 166 copies

SILVER VINYL ltd to 250 copies

ISOLATION AS CULT / ABORTICIDIO Split 7″ (F.O.A.D. 097)

Ultra-limited edition of 200 copies on marbled green vinyl ranging from dark green to water green to turquoise. One of the sickest and most extreme releases in the entire F.O.A.D. Records‘ discography. ISOLATION AS CULT from Italy is a revived early ’90s aberration of GTB from Cripple Bastards teaming up with HOD, chief of the infamous Toxic Basement Studio from which most FOAD releases are conceived and properly mastered for vinyl. If you’re a nostalgic of late 80s / early 90s short song Noisecore in the vein of 7MON, AxCx, Stench Of Corpse, Sore Throat, V.N.A., Tumor, early C.B. and so on, this is exactly that kind of madness. Following to the impossible to find “Pazi brzinu” demotape 1990, this new split EP is an ear-mangling 90-song-in-less-than-3-minutes bombing made of hyper blasting drum ferocity, wall of noise guitar fuzziness and the insane vocal delivery Cripple Bastards are known for.

ABORTICIDIO from Mexico is a fantastic Noise/Punk trio with a sound all devoted to the ancient Japanese masters of dustnoise rawness… They remind of GAI, CONFUSE, The SWANKYS, STATE CHILDREN and other acoustic destroyers of that 80s wave. Their side consists of 2 unreleased songs, following 2 previous tapes, 2 singles and 1 super-rare onesided lathe cut.

All pre-orders have been shipped already, and the limited yellow vinyl version of VNA got sold out in a breathe! If you still want to catch WARTORN’s die-hard edition on marble green wax and V.N.A. on black vinyl (less than 100 left) act at lightspeed because they won’t last for long. Now more in detail about our 2 new releases:

WARTORN “Destroy all monsters!” gatefold LP

32 song discography including all the studio recordings (1991-1993) of this high speed thrashing Hardcore brigade from the U.K. Take the best elements and impact of the craziest Japanese, American and British fast-core, blend them all together with some breakneck tempo changes and you get an approximate picture of the aggression they were able to deliver. This is so fast and unpredictable that at times it even oozes of an early pioneering attempt of what some US bands of the time were already labeling as Power Violence, e.g. think of Infest, Neanderthal, Crossed Out or No Comment…

Here’s a short biography to introduce them more specifically:

“Formed in late 1990 by SORE THROAT vocalist Rich “Militia” Walker after the spontaneous combustion of both bands he was playing in (SORE THROAT and WARFEAR), WARTORN began with only one aim, to create a mix of Japanese style HC such as GUDON, SYSTEMATIC DEATH and GAUZE and the ultra-fast attack of America’s SIEGE and YOUTH KORPX. Joining him in this new band were long time comrade Ian The Merciless of local 80’s Death Metal legends QUOTHROS on vocals and Dutch lunatic drummer Lennaert Roomer. Early rehearsals also included DISASTER’s guitar player Browny on bass. And with this embryonic line up the band recorded the raw and primitive “Last among Equals” demo tape on a battered 4 track recorder in early 1991. Pretty soon after Browny moved on to concentrate on DISASTER full time, so the ex-bassist of WARFEAR was brought in and an additional vocalist called Mel. With this line up the band began playing live aiming to make peoples ears bleed in the local scene with their unrelenting high velocity assaults, much to the dismay of the fashion following local peers as WARTORN’s music stood out like a sore thumb in a sea of pretentious Black Flag acolytes. In 1992 the band recorded tracks for the “Trapped In A tooth gear” sampler LP and a split EP with Rich & Lennaerts other band NAILBOMB (The original, not the band who stole their name after playing a show with them)”.

“As with all bands, the inevitable musical differences cropped up, the bassist was becoming increasingly bewildered by the fast progressing style which just kept on getting faster, and Mel the vocalist just disappeared after one gig never to be seen again. Parting ways with the bass player in late 1992 WARTORN replaced him with Big Jim Rushby (IRONSIDE / IRON MONKEY) and began teaching him the tracks for a new EP. Eventually in early 1993 WARTORN entered Fulton St Studios and in three hours laid down 11 brand new songs and a cover of Madball’s “Get Out”. Further gigging with the likes of Voorhees and Chaos UK followed before the band played their final show in the summer of 1994 before Lennaert and Jim both moved to different parts of the country thus rendering the band inactive only a few months before the second EP “Banzai” was released on the guitar player of DROPDEAD’s label over a year after it was recorded…”

Housed in a solid gatefold cover including lyrics, photos and flyers.  Limited edition of 300 copies, first 100 on marbled green vinyl.

VIOLENT NOISE ATTACK “Complete deafness 1988-1989” LP

Total discography of this terrifying Grind/Noisecore unit hailing from France… V.N.A. (Violent Noise Attack) was the side-project of a crew of friends from the late 80s French scene formed by members of the Thrash band NOMED, Pat from the highly missed label “Thrash Records” (that released Exit 13, Carbonized, Sorcery, Sentenced, Vital Remains etc…)  and local HC bands/zine editors. Their debut demotape “Final execution“, the split 7” with AGATHOCLES and the song on “1984, the fourth” Comp. LP have been always seen as some of the most intense and devastating expressions of the early short-song Grind/Noisecore era, respected by the most deranged noise extremists all over the world. Try to imagine a mix of SORE THROAT, NAPALM DEATH‘s b-side of “Scum” and FEAR OF GOD and you get the idea of the brain-drilling mayhem these maniacs were able to deliver, with a studio production that was fairly above the average level of the period.

This LP collects all their existing recordings, mastered from sources directly provided and licensed by the band members…90 SONGS of absolute ear blasting horror! Side A includes their demo (1988), the split 7″ with AGATHOCLES (1989) and a couple of unreleased studio tracks.  Side B has all never heard before stuff: a rehearsal, a full live set and even a sound-check! Comes with a 4 page insert featuring liner notes, photos, original artworks and flyers. This record is entirely dedicated to VNA’s members André Lemesle and Patrick Blondeau that both passed away few years ago.. R.I.P.!

Limited edition of 300 copies, less than 100 on black vinyl available!

– RAW POWER “Mine to kill” (extended version) digipack CD

4th and final installment of the series that sees FOAD Records re-issuing all RAW POWER‘s albums of the ’80s in their definitive, top-quality version making justice to these ageless classic… After “You are the victim” (1983), “Screams from the gutter” (1984) and “After your brain” (1986) it’s the turn of “Mine to kill” (1989), another uppercut in the jaws showing RP at the top of the game crossovering their manic riff-oriented Hardcore with the most intense and raging Thrash assault. Together with the incredible “Screams from the gutter” this is hands down the fastest and tightest delivery in the band’s discography of the first decade. As for all their previous releases on FOAD, this has been scrupulously remastered from the 1st generation master at Toxic Basement Studio, taking the original dynamics and sonic impact to the most powerful and energetic stage. And there’s more.. as special bonus you will also find a completely UNRELEASED SESSION (12 tracks!) that was the original 1st studio take of the album, made in Modena/Italy still with Helder on drums! As explained by the band: “RAW POWER began the recording of “Mine to kill” in Italy, at Umbi Studio, and when it came to an end there were discussions about the final product. The decision to re-record the album in England with a different producer saw Helder leave, the one most satisfied with the work they had just ended, and having already had a brief live experience with the other boys, Fabiano Bianco (Bloody Riot / Raff) replaced him on drums. The fourth album came out and the previous version was trashed. The bonus tracks added to this version was what would have been “Mine to kill” at the beginning, feeling like the first real attempt to change the style and understanding even more how the personalities within Raw Power differed between them, something that has always characterized the band from any other reality“. Of those 12 tracks, 4 are completely unreleased as they haven’t been re-recorded on the final version of the album, and they simply kill! Raw, aggressive and dizzyingly precise Hardcore from Italy’s most iconic band of the unforgettable “furious years”! Comes in a deluxe digipak sleeve with 11 page booklet including rare photos, flyers, lyrics and liner notes!

So set the time machine to 1986 and face some bloodthirsty Teutonic Speed/Thrash Metal, S.D.I.Bloodsucker – Demo 1986” LP is out now!!! It’s not the first case that we’re dealing with some classic German Metal of the 80s, remember the massive PROTECTOR demo collection “Cain and Abel” on double LP and the recently unleashed POISONSons of evil” LP, but of all the above mentioned recordings, what you’re getting this time is hands down the rarest and less known of all. So more in detail: legendary German Speed/Thrash aggressors S.D.I. (Satans Defloration Inc.) team up with FOAD to unearth their ultra-rare debut studio recording 1986, a cult session known as “Bloodsucker” Demo used only as promo to get them signed to a label for their first full length LP.

This has been re-transfered from the original reels and remixed too, as there were no decent copies around of the original mix that could be used as master. So taking it from the 1/4″ reels, you get it in the best possible sound quality thanks to the amazing restoring skills of The Hand Of Doom at Toxic Basement Studio. If you’re into classic no frills German Thrash and Speed Metal, this has the powerful and straightforward riffing assault to gnaw your neck vertebrae into a frantic headbangin’ delirium until you are ready to jump in a suicidal MEGAMOSH!! It reminds of early day Helloween (1985 EP era) and Iron Angel meet Destruction, all channelled through a more Metal/Punk infused approach. One sided LP with B-Side silkscreened in white with a rare artwork from the original promo. 4 page old school booklet/insert with extensive liner notes, the complete “Bloodsucker” promo photoset and never seen before flyers/artworks. A must have for all you maniacs into ’80s German Thrash and Speed Metal!

We’re starting to ship all the preorders today and the official release party is going to take place this Saturday in Reggio Emilia (Italy) at Lambrusco Open Air with S.D.I. themselves headlining!! After this LP we’ll get back in September with an all-italian 80s Hardcore double assault, so stay tuned!! S.D.I. is still available in two different versions, act fast to catch the limited blue vinyl versions as there aren’t many left!

Available in 2 different versions:

Die-hard electric blue vinyl (limited to 100 copies)
