This month is truly pure insanity, there’s so much boiling in the pot that we won’t stay too long in this introduction or we’ll never finish. 7 titles in one month-an all-time record for F.O.A.D.! Bloody fast thrashcore assault from Tokyo! A venomous mix of the most aggressive 80’s thrash (Kreator, Sadus, Slayer) blended with the anger and tightness of that era’s Japanese hardcore. For us, their demo “Break confusion” stands as one of the most aggressive and representative demos from the bottomless pit of obscure Japanese underground gems released only on cassette, which deserve to be dusted off and rediscovered; it really sounds like a meaner, faster version of Kreator’s masterpiece “Pleasure to kill” with just the right touch of Japanese HC madness. Complete discography 1993-1995 of this obscure hardcore/crust unit hailing from Osaka, Japan. 18 songs compiling their extremely rare demotapes, compilation tracks, soundboard live 1995 and 1 unreleased track. HOLOCAUST’s sound was influenced by traditional Japanese hardcore blended with the highly regarded noisy approach of their area’s crust-punk (Crusade, Framtid, Gloom) and a touch of the European school (Doom, E.N.T., Hiatus).
